Banned at SevenForums & EightForums (SF/EF)

Well well after 5 years over at the sevenfourm.com and eightforums.com run by Fairbrother, I just got banned this morning for no reason what so ever. No reason specified, ban to be never lifted. So it looks like I'll be spending my time here now on a more regular basis.

I remember you over on SevenForums, and I'm sure you never wrote any offensive posts or broke any forum rules as far as I know. :confused2:

It feels really bad now, but any sadness or resentment will soon fade. Remember that the OPs you have helped have still been helped. It is they who we dedicate ourselves to, and that must always be so. We do not volunteer our time to any particular forum admin, but to the OPs. And remember, your cumulative post found remains completely unchanged.

Also, you will find that many of the members here who have been banned at SF etc. have picked up the pieces, and are now much happier than they were before. All forums are different, and whilst which forum you end up making your "home" is for only you to decide, sometimes life forces a change and that change works out for the best.

If you approach the coming weeks with your head held high, and seek to better your position and the help that you can give to OPs, you will quickly learn that not everything which appears negative to begin with turns out to be in the end.

When I was banned from SF/EF the reason given was: "As requested." :lolg:

As everyone else has stated, you are more than welcome here. It's a shame that he has banned so many highly skilled and dedicated individuals but, in all honesty it is his loss.

Most if not all of us were banned from z3r010's sites. Can you believe it has already almost been two years since that fiasco occurred? Things have never been better for practically all of us :grin1:

At first I was mad as hell, then the resentment set in......Now I don't even care. As famous quote says "you reap what you sow".....I've found a new home here and really like it.

Agree on non-vindictive.

I thought all this BS was long over since the "Great Purge" of 2012.

What I find scary -- any other forum that he purchases in the future will have the same effect on us - automatic persona non grata - despite the fact we are a "member in good standing". Sad.

I sincerely hope that TSF is not on his list. If so, there goes 30,000+ of my posts from 2007 - present into the "Guest" category. :r1:

I don't care what he calls it or how he does it - changing a "Registered Member" to "Guest" is tantamount to a ban.

TSF is too large to take over, and there too much individual management there for one person to completely dictate a forum.
