If it fails do following. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop. Right-click on FRST.exe and select "Run as administrator". Note: Your antivirus program may report FRST incorrectly as an infection. If so, disable the real-time protection when downloading and running FRST. Press the Fix button. The tool will now process fixlist.txt. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply. Attachments fixlist.txt 194 bytes · Views: 1

Is this due to the update do you think or the problem I have. If I keep system restore on produces the code 19 in generic volume , turn system restore off stalls at 93%. Any ideas of a back up software? I used to have acronis and that now will not install or run so need a way of backing up the drive while this problem is happening.

Does Easeus Todo produce a log file we can have a look at ? If Easeus Todo backup and system restore both fail at 93% it might be related but I'm not sure.
