I know there aren't many gamers here yet, but I thought this topic might be nice. Talk about games that are currently on your radar here.

I've completed Mass Effect 3 recently, and I've gone back to playing the Witcher 2. I had played the first game, and thought it was great, and bought TW2 on release - I was put off by the numerous bugs in the unpatched version, and the absurd difficulty of some parts of the game. I've gone back to it now though, and it's actually a great game.

What are you currently playing, or thinking of getting?

I just finish playing Dark Souls.... Hands down one of the hardest games I have ever played...

Takes determination and wit to beat the game... much more mentally demanding then most games I have played.

Laxer - Ever played this game for WII?

One of the most metally challenging games that i've played before (from what I remember)

I am thinking of playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent soon. I have heard it isn't a game to play with the lights off.

I was thinking of playing Myst again it's been a few years and I've probably forgotten how to get through it :)

That game was amazing when it first came out! I played it a couple of years ago when I was experimenting with a Windows 98 system... The graphics don't look as pretty as they once did...

I haven't been playing many games recently. Finished up with Skyrim a couple months ago (ate up nearly an entire month of my life) and tried playing Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City... Wasn't a huge hit with me... Went back to playing Fallout 3 (this time on the PC) for a bit until I realized that I had way too much to do to be wasting time playing games... Man, what I wouldn't do to be 16 again... Get home from school... Slam out any homework and boob in front of the NES for a few hours playing FFII or Dragon Warrior!

Favorite games apart from simulators - which aren't games per se <g> - are the Age of Empires/Mythology series, Starcraft 2, Supreme Commander, good old Total Annihilation and Sword of the Stars. Those are the ones I always install and come back to regularly. I just got Legends of Grimrock this week and will soon disappear into that Dungeon Master redux. Other than PC favorites on X-Box are Halo and Gears of War, and Pokemon on Nintendo DS... Yeah, gaming is a big part of my life/work, I am lucky!

I find gaming a great way to relive stress....

I am currently a few hours into my 100000000000 play through of Final Fantasy 7.

BTW, Welcome to Sysnative Katy!

That is 100% true Laxer, that's one of the reasons why I start gaming, it gives you a clear state of mind I find. Btw, Final Fantasy VII is one of my favorite games, truly awesome storyline. I wish they could make a decent (higher budget) movie of the exact storyline for that game, and not change a single thing at all. (And also make the characters real people and not animated)

Gaming makes me more stressed because I know I really should be doing something else, but I do enjoy it, which makes me play more, and so I get more stressed, and usually ends with me being too stressed about other things to carry on!

I put off my priorities for gaming....

With that said.... Sunday is not a good day to contact me :lolg:

HOMEWORK OVERLOAD!

See a few posts back...

Another great RPG is Dark Souls... Got RPG of the year last year(Note: Skyrim took game of the year)

It was much more difficult then skyrim but overall probably a better game.

I did enjoy it... but I had to put it down a few times...

Hard, confusing yet surprising rewarding.
