Congratulations, Richard, on hitting 8,000+ posts. And I know that they are 8,000 QUALITY posts, not just 8,000 QUANTITY posts. There is a huge difference as we all know.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for your dedication, service, time, and patience that you have given to Sysnative.

You created the Windows Update Academy, which was no easy feat, taking a lot of your precious free time away. There are many that have gone through the Academy whom are forever grateful, I'm sure.

I'd quote what everyone else has said about Richard's contributions because it is all so true. However, I believe this will mean something special. Coincidentally and totally out of the blue, I heard from an old friend the other day who said he was checking out an error code and ran across the Sysnative site and asked about Richard. The following was in the email I received this morning. I know his words will mean a lot:

Thanks you all for the kind words, and especially a big thank you to Corrine. It's lovely to hear from MowGreen again - I have a very great deal of respect and appreciation for his knowledge of Windows Update and everything that he taught me. It's a very unexpected and welcome surprise to hear those words :)
