Hello,

My PC: HP TouchSmart. It first started turning off without any warning.

I would turn it back on, only to encounter the very same reaction in hours.

This continued to the point that it became more and more difficult to back on the computer.

When it became a half of an hour wait before it would turn on, I decided to get another computer. This was about six months ago. I just saw this link on LinkedIn.

Help!!!!

Hi De De, and welcome to Sysnative!

As Tekno stated above we will need some additional information to aid in recovering your computer.

The easiest things to give us most of the information we need can be found here: BSOD posting instructions

If you follow the steps and attach the information to a new thread we should hopefully be able to pinpoint the problem :grin1:

I would suggest that it could be overheating issues, perhaps monitor your core temperatures for the various components like your GPU and CPU. That restart or shutdown result, is a common outcome of overheating, and probably one of the most related to random shutdowns and reboots. But without further info, all you can do for now is monitor, and try opening your case to point a big fan directly towards your internal motherboard/cpu/etc... to help it cool along with the built in fans and heatsinks, to see if your computer lasts longer than the usual shutdown delay periods.
