My Several Month Office Remodel

I'm never one to keep anything the same for very long at all. I dove into my harddrive and pulled out all the changes to my desk layout. I must say, I didn't expect that I changed it so much.
And soon in about one week's time I'll be moving stuff yet again. Guess you can't say I not original.

But lets get on with those pictures!
This was the original layout that started it all, 10/2011




These next three pictures were my first L-Desk attempt. I am sorry for the poor lighting. Feb - March, 2012




This is the only good remaining picture. But I was playing around with a back-to-back layout with the desks, but soon found out it only supports room for 1. But it was private tho. 4/2012


This is when I just needed more room, in my room. I cut back and went back to a more simple layout. 4/2012



This is my newest most recent layout. And now I'll be changing it again. I should upload some of my cable management. But then again, the new version will be WAY better.

I like the Glass L desk a lot!

I bought a few new toys for my computer so I will share my setup with you guys next week if you would like :grin1:

For a right-handed person, an L-desk like that gives a great space to rest the mouse arm - and you put a printer there?!

Satrow, just wait till you see the new model. A lot of stuff gets relocated.

Some of this relocation stuff sucks it makes cables go everywhere! And its annoying!

Thanks Corrine, my newest layout will be the most interesting because everything is shifted.

I ordered a few cold cathodes and some extra fans...

Might be putting one in my xbox still unsure :grin1:

I think while I am making the changes I will switch to my backup PSU... my main one seems to enjoy screeching right now... Fan is hopefully going out... (I don't want bad caps)

Newegg will like me a lot through my next few projects. They'll be getting used quite a bit.

Ugh... Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been so busy with work I have no time to work on my projects... But I got a few new toys. Now I just have to finish cleaning my office / room.

I hope to be posting an actual update soon!

Will we see the "new toys" in the next phase of your ongoing remodeling?

Yes you will. I'll be out of town for a week so I'll try and post an "under construction" photo before I go.

A lot of stuff is not in final locations.

For those who can't find the new toys its the external drive and the speaker system.

I'm using my phone at the moment, it isn't the best but I still get to talk to you all.

It was fun. But now its back to the remodel. Hopefully after this is all said and done I'll have a lot of desk real estate.

This is my workspace on a NORMAL day. Just showing my new TV/monitor. And I have a new 8mp camera (which you all will get to see), but I hate all the grain...
