I'm Michael. I'm a hardware enthusiast and have been building computers since 2007. I am also a Microsoft and Windows 7/8 enthusiast. I use ASUS motherboards in most of my builds. I occasionally see a BSOD which leaves me scratching my head. Using windbg I can frequently pinpoint a buggy driver as the root cause BSOD and update or remove the driver. However, sometimes the root cause is harder to determine. I began to develop my crash dump analysis skills in a position as a software developer at a company where a buggy driver was causing machines to spontaneously reboot.
