No, it was not an April Fools Day joke when our own writhziden received the following e-mail:

Congratulations! We are pleased to present you with the 2013 Microsoft® MVP Award! This award is given to exceptional technical community leaders who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others.

Congratulations, Mike! We are so proud of you!!!

Wear it with pride:

Really, really amazing work Mike! Well done!

You truly deserved it, that is for sure.

Wow....congrats Mike, highly deserved. :rose:

I thought I can retire the Forums, shucks! But you'll enjoy all the perks and try not to miss out the Summit next year, it was awesome.

:thumbsup2::thumbsup2: Congratulations Mike :thumbsup2::thumbsup2:

Well, with that out of the way ;-), you do truly deserve this award Mike and you should wear it with pride. I have told you this many times, but I will say it again. The work you do here and elsewhere is fantastic and you put so much effort into it it's unbelievable. You taught me how to debug BSODs and helped me all the way. I could never have done it without you. The BSOD apps you have coded have evolved so much from when I started using them in their very early stages at another forum. An overdue award IMO, and one that I hope you will have for a long while. You truly deserve it Mike, you really do.

:thumbsup2:
