The S seems a little high and too the left... Other than that it looks good IMHO.

As Bruce said, the S does look a bit high but that's only because of the ring around it. I'm guessing you tried to center it? Apart from that though, it's fine.

I tried to center it as best as possible, I guess the ring makes the "S" appear off center.

Yeah, that tends to be a problem when centring things. You could try separating the S and the ring into two separate layers. Then centre the S and finally put the ring around it.

This is one of those cases where a judgement call comes into play... Because of the shadowing... the S and ring may appear off center even if they are dead to rights on the bulls-eye.

Shadows and colors play tricks on the eyes and create all sorts of odd optical illusions. I would suggest trying an aesthetic center as well as a measured center.

It's a bit too far left and a bit too high. The ring can come down one pixel and to the right one pixel approximately, and the 'S' is a bit off center in relation to the ring, as well as the overall circle. It's alright, but the edges seem a bit pixelated as well.
