Nope, no Google Chrome here. I was a long-time Firefox user but switched to Pale Moon last year and is definitely a favorite.

However, browsers and security programs aside, without a doubt,
WinPatrol is my favorite freeware program. There is also a licensed version available which I happen to use. WinPatrol was originally developed by Bill Pytlovany. Due to real-life circumstances, Bill had to sell the program last year. It was purchased by Bret Lowry who has been a software developer for almost 30 years and has worked in the security sector since 2005 and has continued development of the program.
