Choose the option to upgrade, it failed with "something happened" I restarted my computer boot to the DVD, it asked for a Windows key. It would not accept my Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 7 key -.-

The USB drive is filled with 2.95GB but the tool crashed at 71% (With Something Happened) . Can anyone tell me the size of the Pen Drive or the ISO after it is created for Windows 10 Pro? Anyway, I can check the consistency of these files which are there in the Pen Drive? Should I just launch the setup.exe and see what happens?

Now when I tried to use the CD/DVD writer, I found that it is dead as well -_- (It has been so long since I have used it) Now waiting for dad to arrive home so that I could try to use his laptop :| Any chance, I could just extract the ISO (On local disk) and run the setup from there?

It says that my Apps and Settings would be deleted but my files would be kept. It is because according to it, I am running an **unknown** variant of Windows -_- . I have to report back to college on Monday so I will hold on tight till I reach there. I was really looking forward to this So, the conclusion is that the Student Edition of Windows from Dreamspark does not get the upgrade option.
