[SOLVED] Windows Updates Just Telling Me To Restart

I've recently been trying to install iTunes and in order for that I need my computer to be up to date. But every time I try to Check for Updates it just tells me to restart. I've tried restarting hundreds of times and it doesn't work. I've searched far and wide for a solution but none of them work. I've tried an SFC and switching the Windows Update settings. I have a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit. So I hope you'll be able to provide a solution. Also I do have the pending.xml file on this laptop. I've searched for a solution in here and it seems you guys ask if I have that file in my winsxs folder. I do. So thanks again.

Well after searching some more, this thread [SOLVED] Windows update in restart loop solved my issue. So yeah.
