Hello, and welcome to Sysnative :)
Can I suggest for your BSOD problem that you follow these instructions (
https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bs...g-instructions-windows-8-7-windows-vista.html) and post a separate thread over in the BSOD forum:
BSOD, Crashes, Kernel Debugging
Hopefully we can then solve both of your problems. I will help you with your Windows Update problem, they will help you with the BSODs.
First, please create a new folder on your Desktop called Logs.
Then, please downoad and run collect.exe available here:
Instructions to collect .NET Framework 4 and Visual Studio 2010 setup logs - VarunGupta - Site Home - MSDN Blogs
It may take 10-15 minutes to complete.
Whilst it is running, please copy C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log into the Logs folder on your Desktop.
Once collect.exe has finished running, please open (My) Computer, and navigate to the
C:\Users\{Your username}\AppData\Local\Temp folder and copy
vslogs.cab into the Logs folder on your Desktop.
Now please right click on the Logs folder > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder. Please upload it here. If it is too large, you may need to upload it to an external website. Microsoft Skydrive (
https://skydrive.live.com/), is a good possibility, but any other file sharing website will do. Then provide me with a link to the uploaded file.
Thank you,
Richard
