Hello, and welcome to Sysnative!

My name is Richard and I'll be one of two members working with you on this issue. The other member's username is "Go The Power" and you'll meet him in a little while. He's one of the trainees here, and he'll be working under my direction on your issue. Everyone's got to start somewhere, so they'll be a slight delay between each of his posts. This is so that I can double check all of the fixes prior to submission. I hope that you can understand that this is necessary in order to train new members in the safest possible way.

We'll be back with the first fix as quickly as possible. Thank you very much for your continued patience.

Richard

Hello Keoni3535

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Download the file View attachment SFCFix.zip and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put

tags around the log to break up the text.

SFC Scan

  1. Right click on the start button -> Click on Command Prompt as Administrator on the list
  2. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    sfc /scannow

Wait for this to finish before you continue

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt
  3. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

Yes, I understand that it did not work. My question was 'What happened when you tried?'

Please go to your desktop and double click on SFCFix.txt copy and paste the entire contents back into this thread.

Lets try another approach to get these CBS log

Please go to one of the following links and upload CBS.txt Dropbox or ge.tt

Once uploaded please obtain a link to share the file and paste it back into this thread.
