Here's my DMP in txt format -

071113-7940-01.dmp 11/07/2013 20:54:01 INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 0x0000003d fffff880`0af994e0 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 fffff880`0103178e mv91xx.sys mv91xx.sys+3178e x64 ntoskrnl.exe+75c00 C:\Windows\Minidump\071113-7940-01.dmp 8 15 7601 276,720 11/07/2013 20:55:22

When I try to run the ntoskrnl.exe file it says it's missing or corrupt.

The mv91xx.sys file is something to do with my marvell controller which I updated yet it still appears.

I have ran memory tests, hdd tests, diagnostics, installed updates, although i haven't updated my asus bios i'm not sure how to.

Any ideas?

Somehow forgot to add that I ran my windows update and 5 updates could not be completed because of a missing or corrupt file, which I'm guessing is the ntoskrnl.exe one. I also found a marvell controller driver for the mv91xx yet it still comes up on the BSOD.

Not sure if this helps solve the problem, but here is a link to an image that shows the updates I need to do but can't. - e6ef811b5e686b4f479b93254f72c5c9.png -

Nearly all of them are .NET Framework updates, my .NET 4 Framework in particular was broken but I managed to repair it as I could not get on my catalyst control center because of it however now I can.

Hello, and welcome to Sysnative!

How did you manage to repair .net 4? Did you use the cleanup tool? If so, that's great work :)

Can you please update me on the status of which updates are still failing to install?

Thank you!

Richard

Hey Richard!

I'm not really sure that the .NET Framework is the "main" issue. (Although the image link has all the one's I have yet to do but can't) I went to the control panel and repaired it with the wizard which fixed it I think

Although when I get the BSOD it comes up with mv91xx.sys (which is related to my marvell controller which I downloaded the update for but didn't do anything else and may not have done it properly.) and ntoskrnl.exe

I've been trying to figure out how to run diagnostics from the bios however my M4 Crucial SSD doesn't actually have any diagnostics downloads on the site. I did download a WD HDD diagnostic to a disc but then it said no drive found... So if I can fix this by just purchasing a new SSD (which my C drive is installed on) if that is the problem or reinstalling Windows 7 maybe I'd do that. As I just seem to be failing at checking my HDD and SSD's. I did run a chkdsk command on the cmd a day ago but now I can't actually get into windows safe mode or not.

I'm struggling so any help is great.
