hi, i hv problem with windows update, im using win7 64 bit and my notebook is asus n46vz.
i tried to update all windows update, but unfortunately there is some reccomended/important updates were failed, that time i googling to find out how to redownload failed update, then i see some forum, someone posted that i hv to delete folder "SoftwareDistribution" on C:\Windows if i want to reset windows update, yes its make my windows update like never updated, but when i tried to "check for updates" it doesnt load the failed update that i want to download again, so i looked on forum w7, im trying with something like .bat file that makes your windows update resetted, like script, and yeah it restarted the windows update again withouth having to delete "softwaredistribution" but the results is the same, there's no failed updates, instead of that there is just some like additional updates ( ex: internet explorer, etc )
can anyone help me solve this, i need the importand updates that were failed ,bcuz my notebook seems got BSOD all the time, maybe from lacking of the updates
thx for reading..

sorry,i cant upload the CBS folder, it always stuck on the middle of uploading,i dont know why..

Hello, and welcome to Sysnative :)

I am so sorry about the delay. I've been completely overwhelmed with work the last week or so.

Can you please update me on the status of this issue - do you still need help?

Thank you!

about BSOD i already posted on windows7forum..

I read your thread at Windows7Forums. There is no need to re-post the entire thread here as we (Windows7Forums, Windows8Forums + Sysnative Forums) work together in the interest of those like you seeking help.

Your thread from Windows7Forums - BSOD code 0x109, please help

I see that John Carrona, Sysnative Admin usasma answered your BSOD thread & as usual, provided you with excellent help & advice.

The memory error is interesting. The next time that happens, run this app -

http://sysnative.com/0x8/WMI_recover...jcgriff2_com_.exe

A Notepad will open. Attach it to your post.

The output looks like this (it is the bottom portion we want to look at) and is generated by WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation):

The numbers in RED represent virtual memory usage in MB; "Peak.." = peak virtual memory usage since last re-boot.

It is from: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bs...-information/325-bsods-but-no-dump-files.html

Run it anytime you want to check virtual memory usage.

Please run - https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bs...g-instructions-windows-8-7-windows-vista.html

I'd like to see certain areas like WERCON and Event Viewer logs first, please.

Hello again :)

I'm so sorry about the delay. I've been completely overloaded, but managing to get back on top of it now!

Can you please upload your zipped CBS folder to Skydrive: https://skydrive.live.com/

and send me a link to the file (make sure it's publicly accessible)?

Thank you!

Richard
