C:\Windows\system32>SFC /SCANNOW
Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.
Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of th
em.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
The system file repair changes will take effect after the next reboot.
C:\Windows\system32>

what can i do to repair this? if i repair this myy windows will be genuine?

You posted your same question in two different threads a few minutes apart. That can lead to some folks posting replies here and some there and that can lead to confusion for helpers and potential conflicting advice given to you. Helpers are a very limited resource so having your question in one place leads to a more efficient use of helper resources.

So my reply was a message to staff and others reading to post, and concentrate all replies there to avoid confusions and wasted efforts.

Not to worry - a common mistake.

yeah actually this is my 1st time to this website. the 1st one i posted was to a specific person. and the second one is a another post.

and the second one is a another post.
Another post with the exact same problem posted, obviously via cut and paste, and that is not really proper "forum etiquette". Also note that forums are places for "open" discussions where all can participate. For that reason, posting in an "open" forum to a specific person is not proper either. Private conversations are facilitated via PMs but to that, problem solving via PMs is not really proper either because then, others with the same problem don't have the opportunity to learn from your experiences.

Please note these policies or conditions or etiquette points or whatever they are called are standard across the Internet, not just at this site. Again, not a big deal. Thanks for your understanding.

i have seen that post but its a quite different.
Come on. Please! As anyone can easily see, if you look at your first post in this thread and your first post in your other thread here, they are EXACTLY the same, except that one starts with "dear Richard" and has "Re:" in the same title. So no, not "quite different" at all.

So to avoid further unnecessary confusion and wasting of time, lets stick to that other thread and let this one die now.

Don't worry about it. Either a moderator will come by and delete it, or if you stop replying to it, and just let it die as I suggested above, it will go dormant on its own and drop down the list. So best bet now is to simply stop responding to this thread.

Welcome to Sysnative :)

As Digerati has explained, best to have one thread only to avoid confusion. But not to worry! I am quite busy tonight, so will have to reply to your other thread tomorrow. However, for now, i'll close this thread and we can move on and get fixing :)

Richard
