Windows Resource Protection found corrupt file - CBS. Log

Initially needed to stop wuauserv because my Window 8 Apps update were stuck on pending and that became an issue. Then I tried to reset my Window Update components but found out I had a corrupt file. I'm new to using sfc /scannow and don't know how to fix this corrupt CBS file.Corrupt CBS.log file found using sfc/scannow

Hello, and welcome to Sysnative!

Your problem is being caused by a missing store directory. SFCFix can repair such corruptions. Please download and run SFCFix.exe from here: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/downloads/sfcfix/

When complete (15-20 minutes), please post the logfile and re-run SFC /scannow. Does it now get to 100%? It may still report corruptions, that's not so much of an issue, at this time all I'm trying to do is get it to run to 100%.

I've downloaded and completed SFCFix.
This is what I got:































Then I opened cmd prompt and used sfc /scannow. It reached 100% but still reports corrupted file.

Well, that's definitely a step in the right direction!

Can you please go to C:\SFCFix folder, open the logfile that's been created there, then copy and paste it as plain text into your next reply (hold down Ctrl key, press C, release both, to copy, then hold down Ctrl key, press V, release both, to paste).

Also, can you please upload a new set of C:\Windows\Logs\CBS folder, just as you did in your first post (copy to Desktop, zip up, attach).
