First time posting here and after a driver update I'm having trouble booting my system. I loaded Hirens boot disk and ran some Commands.
I tried to sfc/SCANNOW but it always says "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service."

Tried DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth but it says "Error: 126" "The specified module could not be found."

Windows 10 Home 2021

Here are the files requested:

When I run an offline DISM scan it prints:

C:\>Dism /image:c:\ /cleanup-image /restorehealth /source:E:\install.wim

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 10.0.19041.1

Image Version: 10.0.19041.1466

Error: 0x800f0801

DISM failed. No operation was performed.
For more information, review the log file.

The DISM log file can be found at X:\windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

Could you please open an elevated command prompt and enter the following commands:

Rich (BB code):
diskpart
list disk
select disk #
list partition

Please replace # with the number of your disk where Windows is installed.

Thanks for your reply. I was working with a tech to rebuilt the boot and recovery partitions but the Windows part still seems defective.

I assume you've attempted to use the usual BCD commands? Could you please select the system partition from diskpart and then provide a screenshot of the output?

Rich (BB code):
select part 1
detail partition

The output should be similar to the following:

Rich (BB code):
DISKPART> detail partition

Partition 1
Type : c12a7328-f81f-11d2-ba4b-00a0c93ec93b
Hidden : Yes
Required: No
Attrib : 0X8000000000000000
Offset in Bytes: 1048576

Volume ### Ltr Label Fs Type Size Status Info
  ---------- --- ----------- ----- ---------- ------- --------- --------
* Volume 1 SYSTEM FAT32 Partition 100 MB Healthy System

I ran the bcdboot C:\Windows /s W: /f UEFI command

The only difference I see is mine says "EFI" not System and Info is labeled "Hidden" not system.

It looks to be okay, is this the only disk which is bootable? If not, then I would suggest - if possible - disconnecting the other drives and then checking you're able to boot from it.

Yes I unplugged my external drive and set the BIOS to boot from main SSD. I tried many times, it starts to boot and the BSOD Recovery mode starts.

That's not a BSOD error screen, it's just a recovery error message. I would suggest creating a Windows 10 .ISO and then performing a startup repair with that. Have you checked the health of the SSD using your SSD's diagnostics tools?

I call it a BSOR of recovery, it's a softer version. Anyhow, I have tried the startup repairs (no joy) and checked the health of SSD all seems good. I saw another Admin use a SFC Fix program for another user but the Zip didn't have the program inside the Zip file?

It looks like your installation is corrupted, there is no boot entries for it to boot from hence why your system isn't able to start. Did the other two commands work as well then?

There appears to be some serious issues with your installation, I would suggest using something like Hirens Rescue to get any important files you don't want to lose, then format the entire disk and then attempt to apply your .wim image as mentioned in your other thread. However, I would personally recommend just doing a complete clean install.
