Have had issues since the 3rd April with Nvidia drivers crashing, halting my system. Have tried rolling back drivers and several other versions to no avail. As it isn't a BSOD I've had to manually load the .dmp which indicates that both:

nvlddmkm.sys nvlddmkm.sys+14eb68 fffff880`0f2d3000 fffff880`0ffa9000 0x00cd6000 0x533349c9 27/03/2014 5:42:33 AM

and

usbccgp.sys usbccgp.sys+6c3d610 fffff880`046b3000 fffffaa0`046d0000 0x000002200001d000 0x4ce7a673 20/11/2010 6:44:03 PM

Are at fault in some way. Attached are my PERFMON HTML, windows action centre .dmp and BSOD file collection as per request.

Actions taken: I've tested both GPUs with FurMark burn-in, CPU with Prime95 and RAM with memtest overnight, no errors and temps @ <84*C even under constant max load. Driver Verifier forced a BSOD with ntldi.sys at fault which I believe is Netlimiter so I have disabled Netlimiter 3 until further notice.

· OS - Windows 7 x64
· Original OS - Win7 x64
· Oldest system part would be 5-6 years old. CPU, GPUs etc are newer.
· Age of OS installation - Approx 2 years

· CPU - Intel i5 3570k
· Video Card - SLI EVGA 670s
· MotherBoard - ASRock Extreme6 777
· Power Supply - Silverstone Strider 850w

Regards,
Drakargh.

Uninstall NetLimiter. Disabling it won't ensure that the drivers don't load.
Feel free to reinstall the latest, Win7 compatible version once the system has been stabilized.

Only 105 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

You have 3 hard drives. What is the make/model/wattage and age of your Power Supply?

These devices have problems in Device Manager:
VPN Client Adapter - VPN ROOT\NET\0000 This device is disabled.

NVR0FLASHDev ROOT\LEGACY_NVR0FLASHDEV\0000 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
Please enable the first device, then update it's drivers. Feel free to disable it again AFTER it's updated.
The second device is related to nTune or the nVidia System Utility. Please uninstall that, then update with the latest, Win7 compatible version.

MSI Afterburner (along with Riva Tuner and EVGA Precision) are known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems (it's driver is usually RTCore64.sys). Please un-install them immediately! Your system has this driver, but I can't tell which program is using it.

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

UltraMon has caused BSOD's in the past (UltraMonUtility.sys). I would uninstall it and see if that stops the BSOD's. Feel free to install the latest, Win7 compatible version AFTER the system has been stabilized.

Uninstall NetLimiter. Disabling it won't ensure that the drivers don't load.
Feel free to reinstall the latest, Win7 compatible version once the system has been stabilized.
Uninstalled.

Only 105 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).
Updates done!

You have 3 hard drives. What is the make/model/wattage and age of your Power Supply?
It's Silverstone 850W Silver Plus, approx 5 years old.

I've uninstalled the unneeded VPN, I have no idea what the device that's related to nTune or nVidia is, or how to remove/uninstall it.

MSI Afterburner (along with Riva Tuner and EVGA Precision) are known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems (it's driver is usually RTCore64.sys). Please un-install them immediately! Your system has this driver, but I can't tell which program is using it.
I'll uninstall EVGA Precision, that's the only thing I can think of that's related.

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.
ok

UltraMon has caused BSOD's in the past (UltraMonUtility.sys). I would uninstall it and see if that stops the BSOD's. Feel free to install the latest, Win7 compatible version AFTER the system has been stabilized.
This will be the hardest to live without, but alright.

Thank you for the assistance, will reply to you if/when issues occur or if the problem is resolved.

To remove the nVidia thing - uninstall all nVidia stuff, then download and install the latest, Win7 compatible drivers
We'll worry about the drivers if they show up in further memory dumps.

Link for further troubleshooting on STOP 0x117 errors: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bs...-video-tdr-timeout-0x116-0x117.html#post29532

A STOP 0x117 is where the driver timed out - and then recovered itself (that's why you don't see a BSOD for it).
A STOP 0x116 is where the driver timed out - and didn't recover itself, resulting in a BSOD.

If the system is actually crashing (giving you a BSOD screen) then the memory dumps aren't being collected.
If that is the case, Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

While waiting for a reply, please monitor your temps with this free utility: HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

I suggest testing with only 1 video card - but that's up to you. 1 card just makes it easier to pin the blame (and you don't have to worry about the other card until you're done testing). Please start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Here's a screenshot of what Nvidia things I have to uninstall http://puu.sh/8aJlv.png

I'm not seeing anything apart from drivers, which you want me to clean/reinstall?

Attached is the Admin.evtx

I use HWMonitor Pro already, all temps are fine even under max load (84*C Max GPUs temp under max load) (CPU maxes at ~70 under max load)

Uninstall all of the nVidia stuff. Then download the latest, Win7 compatible driver from Drivers | GeForce
I'm not familiar with SLI setups, so install what's appropriate if you still have SLI

Temps seem to be on the high side of OK - I'd just keep an eye on them for now.
I like to see the CPU in the 60's and the GPU in the 70's - but there's many things that'll affect this.

There's a lot of problems due to UltraMon just prior to the last shutdown (in the Event Viewer log).
Please uninstall it (even if it's only temporary) in order to see if that stops the problems.
There's also a problem with a Dropbox dll, please uninstall your Dropbox add-ons to see if that helps.

Update the Intel Management Engine (and the other Intel stuff) from the motherboard's support website:
ASRock > Z77 Extreme6

Then we wait......
We're waiting to see if the problem is fixed and remains fixed.
If not, post back and we'll try some more.....

I'm running the latest drivers by nVidia but I'll clean/uninstall them and reinstall a fresh download.

I had no uninstall option in program files for Netlimiter OR Ultramon so I just booted into safe mode and deleted their program folders, is there anything else I'd need to do? Will look around for any registries/folders with their names and clear them also.

Will uninstall dropbox and install this motherboard stuff and let you know.

I would suggest using Autoruns (free here: Autoruns for Windows )

Please remember that deleting stuff can render the system unbootable (especially drivers).
Please make a System Restore Point prior to making any changes - and make sure that you can get to the System Restore Point if the system won't boot (using a repair disk/usb stick).

Here's my canned speech for this - adapt it as needed for what you delete (the stuff in RED is what'll change with different drivers):
1) Create a Restore Point using System Restore
2) Create a Repair disc (Recovery Drive in Win8.1):
Win 7 - Go to Start...All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc
Win 8 - Press "WIN" and "R" to open the Run dialog...type "RECDISC" (without the quotes) and press ENTER
Win 8.1 - Go to the Start Screen and type in "recoverydrive" (one word, without the quotes). That will start the recovery drive process. You will need a USB drive of at least 512 mB - and all data will be erased off of it. If copying the recovery partition the drive size will be much, much larger (16 - 32 gB drive required).
3) Test the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive to make sure that you can get to the System Restore entry when you boot from the disk/drive (you may also want to try actually using System Restore to make sure that it works)
4) Download this free program (Autoruns for Windows) and use it to disable any instances of hssdrv6.sys that are starting (or any other HotSpot Shield entries) (DO NOT DELETE - only disable by removing the checkmark in the left hand column)
5) Check in Device Manager (to include showing hidden devices from the View menu item) and ensure that any instances of hssdrv6.sys (or any other HotSpot Shield entries) are "Uninstalled" (DO NOT DISABLE THESE).
6) Check in the Services applet (services.msc) to be sure any instances of hssdrv6.sys or any other HotSpotShield entries are disabled.
7) Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and rename the hssdrv6.sys driver to hssdrv6.BAD (search the hard drive for it if it's not in C:\Windows\System32\drivers).

In the event that the system doesn't boot:

1) Boot from the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive and use the Command Prompt option to rename hssdrv6.BAD to hssdrv6.sys
Code:
ren C:\Windows\System32\drivers\[COLOR="#FF0000"]hssdrv6.BAD[/COLOR] C:\Windows\System32\drivers\[COLOR="#FF0000"]hssdrv6.sys[/COLOR]
2) Boot from the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive and use the System Restore option to restore the system to a point before the changes were made.

Good luck!

I've narrowed it down to a fault in one of the video cards. Currently initiating the RMA process on one of the GTX 670s.

Thank you kindly for all your assistance, seems windows was pretty spot on with a "Video Hardware error".
