There was successful installation with different boot order in between last and second last post.

What has changed with regards to the boot order?

When installation was failed, boot order was 1st is HDD(or SSD, only one of them can be used for booting), 2nd is CD/DVD.
When installation was successful, boot order was 1st is CD/DVD, 2nd is HDD.
I cannot check rest of list at this moment, but 3rd to 8th(last) is identical for both and same as default.

Do I have to try installation of Windows 7 again?

By the way, I think I found the culprit that preventing to upgrading to Windows 10;
that is corrupted x86_policy.8.0.microsoft.vc80.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.6229_none_516aa8570f4c0657.cat .

I looked into setupact.log to find out where fatal error was thrown,
and it was during attempting to instal assembly associated with x86_policy.8.0.microsoft.vc80.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.6229_none_516aa8570f4c0657.manifest.
So I looked into corresponding .cat file and found out there is abnormality (no line break, while others have hundreds).
Because the error which is originated in function CCatalog::Create ,
which I assume the function reads .cat file, I guessed fixing the corrupted .cat file may solves the issue.

Before upgrading, I have one question:
Previously existed files were evacuated to Windows.old folder.
Is it intended action?
