My windows had lot of improper shutdowns due to recent failure of my laptop battery. It messed up with network icon, modem settings which don't allow to me connect to network using Huwaei USB modem, Refusing to update to Win 7 SP1 with returning Error Code 5 etc.,. So, i tried running SFC in Administrative mode to fix those issues after a long time and this time it returns so weird results!

Code:
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Windows\system32>SFC /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of th
em.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

The system file repair changes will take effect after the next reboot.

C:\Windows\system32>

I have also attached the entire CBS Folder with this post kindly some one recommend on what to do to fix those issues!

Many Thanks for you time and help in advance!

Hello,

Please be patient when waiting for a reply. We have very few experts on this topic, and one of them is currently on holiday for a few weeks. Hence we only have 1 person who is an expert on this. As a result, he is stretched between many threads and there may be a delay in his reply.

Thanks for your patience :-)

Regards,
Stephen

Hello, and welcome to Sysnative :)

I am so sorry for the delay. I've been really, really busy. But I've created a fix for you now!

WARNING: This fix has been created specifically for this user. If you are not this user, do not follow these instructions as you may cause serious harm to your computer.

Download a copy of SFCFixScript.zip attached to this post, and save it to your Desktop.
Then download a copy of SFCFix.exe from here: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/downloads/sfcfix/, and also save it to your Desktop.
Single click on SFCFixScript.zip and drag and drop it on top of SFCFix.exe. SFCFix will open and perform a fix for your corruptions.
A logfile called SFCFix.txt will open (and be saved to your Desktop). Please copy and paste the report into your next reply.

Then please re-run sfc /scannow and let me know the outcome.

Thank you!

Richard

Hello,

Please don't bump your thread so soon. We currently only have one expert who is very busy. Please be patient. Threads are being dealt with in an age basis - I.e people who have been waiting longest are being helped first.

Regards,
Stephen

Hey,

I am so sorry for your delay. Unfortunately Richard is currently on holiday ATM so is not able to provide much assistance. Our other expert, tom982, has just returned from holiday himself, so hopefully he will be able to assist you.

Once again, I am so sorry for the extended delay

Stephen

Hello jhbalaji,

Sorry for the delay! As Stephen said, it's a very busy time for us and it's been tough to fit in all of the threads between holidays and our personal lives, but we'll get there eventually!

Seeing as it's been so long since you posted your last set of logs and things may have changed, could you zip up your CBS folder and upload it again please?

Tom
