hi Tekno Venus... i have this problem also... and i have run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT)...i have copy the link at below... can you please help me too? i have been troubled for this very long time...

Manual Package Replacement

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

Please download the file, Packs.zip from my dropbox -->here<-- and save this to your Desktop.
Right-click on the file and select Extract All...
Tick the box labelled Show extracted files when complete then click Extract
A window will open showing two folders, Manifests and Packages
Open the Manifests folder and copy the files into the following folder (if there are any files)

C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests
Open the Packages folder and copy the files into the following folder (if there are any files)

C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages
Run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again
When the SURT finishes installing, copy (Ctrl + C) and paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of the SURT log into your next post please:

C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log

hi Stephen, 3 of the update have 2 already success, left one cannot.. then error code is 8024200D and the update name is KB2808679...

hi.. when i wanna download, it required to download Genuine Windows Validation, after i install it, it pop out and write " This version of the Windows Genuine Advantage validation tool is no longer supported. Please download the newest version and ensure that your system clock is accurate"...

Ah yes! I'm sorry about that.

Microsoft's website is a bit broken at the moment. The workaround is to visit this website: Genuine Validation - Microsoft Download Center

from Internet Explorer. The website currently doesn't accept any other browsers at the moment.
