Hi I can't figure out why Windows update fails and then when i try to repair via dism this fails also

With and without a specific local source location

So far, I have tried
  • manually installing the latest cumulative update.
  • sfc /scannow (Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.)
  • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:WIM:c:\source\sources\install.wim:1 /LimitAccess - using the WIM from the same ISO as the original install
  • Error: 0x800f081f The source files could not be found.
Any help appreciated

Great, and please run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Please reboot the system first, and then run DISM again and report the result with a copy of the new CBS logs.

Hi,

Please check if the following file is present: C:\Windows\WinSxS\Pending.xml if so attach a copy of this file to your next post.
