Re: [Win8.1 64x] Embedded Lockdown Manager Corrupt
Yes, please. I re-ran sfcfix and encountered the same problems. Prior to that, I tried the ff. options but they did not fix the problem:
Option 1:
dism /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
sfc /scannow
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
sfc /scannow
Option 2:
net stop wuauserv
cd %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution
ren Download Download.old
net start wuauserv
net stop bits
net start bits
net stop cryptsvccd
%systemroot%\system32
ren catroot2 catroot2old
net start cryptsvc
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Or
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:Z:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess
Option 3:
mkdir d:\mount
dism /mount-Image /ImageFile:Z:\sources\install.wim /index:1 /mountdir
:\mount\ /readonly
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth /Source
:\mount\windows /LimitAccess
Option 4:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
SFC /SCANNOW
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore
SFC /SCANNOW
Restart your computer.
I also used the media creation tool to get the latest copy of Win 8.1 and tried to install .NET Framework 3.5. The only thing I have not tried is refresh the system because that that will mean reinstalling various apps.
Finally, I'm still unable to attach cbs.zip. The browser indicates that it sent a request to
www.sysnative.com.
