Hello people :)
I've come around to the idea of creating this topic just to see what the great people over here are enjoying when it comes to TV shows.

I love detective and crime series, so my fav tv shows would be... yes, you guessed it all the shows in the CSI franchise, Chicago PD and Sherlock of course.

If I had to place all the CSIs in order, my top would definitely be NY then LV, Miami, then Cyber (I recommend you watch this because of the tech, the show is the worst in the series by far, but for a tech lover like me... :D )
Other shows I like include: 24, Breaking Bad, House (an avid fan also), Code Black, Chicago Med...

And nope, I have not watched Game of Thrones and I do not intend to :smile9:

Are there any Crime show lovers out there like myself? Let me know what you like! I'd happily discuss the shows with you :)

Mihael

All time favorite - Dallas

Current favorite: TURN - Washington's Spies (Revolutionary War spy thriller)

Supernatural is probably the best I've seen yet.

- Supergirl
- NCIS
- NCIS:LA
- Hawaii Five-O
- The Flash
- Scorpion
- iZombie
- Arrow

Sherlock is great :thumbsup2: Here's mine:

Drama
Band of Brothers
Better Call Saul
Billions
Breaking Bad
House of Cards
Mr Robot
Narcos
Prison Break
Sherlock
Suits
True Detective
Westworld

Comedy
Family Guy
Impractical Jokers (couldn't recommend this more, it's hilarious)
Modern Family
Silicon Valley
The Caronaro Effect

John, I have heard of Dallas, but never watched it.
axe0 (Martjin, if I'm not mistaken?), I have watched Hawaii Five-O and liked it a lot.

And now we have come to my man, Tom!

I have watched almost everything on the Drama list and I love it, love it!

How did you like the 5th season of Prison Break?

There are too many that have come and gone to list.

I too like crime drama shows but for some reason, not the CSI shows. Not a fan of Criminal Minds, either.

Elementary is great. I was never a fan of Lucy Lui in the past but I think she is great in this series. And I like Sherlock too.

NCIS (all of them)
Law and Order (not sure of this latest version)
NYPD Blue was an all time favorite
Blue Bloods
The Blacklist
Jessica Jones
Person of Interest
Longmire
Bull
Poirot
Rizzoli & Isles
Major Crimes
Murdoch Mysteries

I liked Scorpion but soon tired of it because their tricks, hacks and accomplishments became too unrealistic.

Medical shows are another favorite.

House
Night Shift
Pure Genius (sad it was cancelled)
Code Black

And medical and crime shows are good too. Like Bones.

Iron Chef
Good Eats

And of course, there's Doctor Who and Star Trek (all of them).

Way way back, there was Gunsmoke, Topper, The Avengers, Get Smart, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Perry Mason, Ironside,

I am not into soap operas and one thing that will ruin a good crime drama or medical drama for me is when it becomes more about the romance and betrayal drama between the characters than it is about the science of medicine or detective work of the investigators. I used to really like Grey's Anatomy but quickly lost interest because of the side shows. I did like Castle, however.

There are just too many zombie and vampire shows - got tired of all them.

How did you like the 5th season of Prison Break?

I didn't have very high expectations as I thought the series was already a bit stretched for new content, but it was still disappointing. Michael's return was a bit far-fetched and the plot wasn't really anything new. What about you?

Oh I forgot Jessica Jones, Bill. That's another cracker. Alex recommended Person of Interest but I couldn't really get into it.

Hustle is another one I love, but it's not very well known: Hustle (TV Series 2004–2012) - IMDb

I watched The Blacklist for a while, but I stopped, not sure what the reason was. I'm a fan of Poirot (Agatha Christie) PC games.
I loved PB, the setting was great, but one of the best moments was the one with Ja and We Are The Champions, hahahhaha.

Add me to the list of liking crime drama shows.

NCIS is at the top of my list, although I liked it best when Cote de Pablo was in it as Ziva David.

Other favorites:

Blue Bloods
Murdoch Mysteries
Rizzoli & Isles
Suits

I just started season 5 of Prison Break and agree with Tom's assessment. Quantico started out fine but I didn't think the second season was all that great. I liked Scorpion but it seemed to be losing something toward the end of the last season. As to Bull, will it continue to hold interest or end up being too predictable?

Having grown up on Superman comic books, as a kid heading to the comic book racks checking for a new edition, how could I resist Supergirl!

I had very low expectations as well, but I loved what they did in season 5. I personally think it was one of the best seasons, season 1 being my favorite.

My shows:
- Sons of Anarchy <-- All time favorite show
- Star wars clone wars and star wars rebels
- Game of thrones
- Westworld
- Silicon valley
- The flash
- Modern family
- Everybody loves Raymond
- Suits
- The office (The US version)
- Warehouse 13
- Supernatural
- Lost
- Breaking bad
- The Inbetweeners
- Person of Interest
- House of cards

Maybe will need to binge can catch up. I also really liked season 1 but lost interest in 2 and never picked it up again.

I also really liked The West Wing and recently watched the full series over Netflix again.

I don't know if it is just me and my age, but I sure am glad both my DVR and my Roku streamer have a "rewind" button because the dialog moves so fast in The West Wing and other shows these days that I frequently have to back it up to catch what was said.

I'll definitely check out Sons of Anarchy! Sounds awfully interesting :) I've watched a couple of episodes of PoI and Suits.
Quantico :thumbsup2: I'm watching it right now and it's great, absolutely amazing :)

I was very, very young when West Wing was popular, so I didn't watch it at the time, maybe give it a go now, and of course, I couldn't speak English at the time, I had just started learning it by the time the show had reached its final season, lol.

I don't really watch any television at all anymore, I've considered not purchasing a TV licence when I purchase my own home, and only using my television to watch films and play games.

Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer listening to the radio and reading instead!

I use the rewind button as well (but on netfilx), its handy if something was missed.

It really is a good show, you might have to give it a couple of episodes but it is totally worth it.

Same here! I've only watched one episode and thought it was terribly overrated.

I dont know what to say to this :p..... GoT is a fantastic show.

Just started with Prison Break, it looks to be even better than I thought.

Curious though, if it is very popular, why is GoT stopping?

I don't know. I don't like that sort of shows, never did. My limit is HP which I kinda like, but everything that's not real like dragons/trolls and such is a meh too me and I instantly lose interest.

I'm a little late to the party but some of mine are as follows (in no particular order)

NCIS LA
NCIS
Taken - Actually VERY good if you haven't seen it.
Blacklist
Blue Bloods
Chicago Med
Chicago PD
Chicago Fire
Chicago Justice
24
Breaking Bad
House
Used to Love CSI but don't watch anymore. I did enjoy CSI Cyber as well.
Scorpion
The Caronaro Effect (I'm also going to see him in November)
Law & Order SVU
Bull (I can't get into this one...still trying...he needs to go back to CSI)
Pure Genius
Code Black
MacGyver
Designated Survivor
Conviction

All I can think of at the moment.
