Hello Sysnative ^_^,

The Windows 8 sub forum is not accessible and hence I am writing this over here. I am noticing a very strange issue since few days that whenever I right click on Desktop, the overall brightness of the desktop wallpaper and the icons on the desktop increases a little bit and when clicked Refresh, it resets back to default.

This does not happen whenever I am on a screen other than the desktop. I am sure that this has started happening since few days. I don't think that this is malware in the background because I am seeing this happening only on Desktop. I have initiated a Full System scan using Windows Defender as well.

I checked the Intel Graphics & Media Control as well and everything seems fine.

Any idea on what might be happening?

Thanks ^_^

It may be something to do with your power settings, have you checked what the screen settings are for when the laptop is being charged and not charged?

I just changed the wallpaper and the issue seems to be resolved. I wonder what might have caused this though
