Update notification windows doesn't pop into foreground

I've hesitated updating to the latest version due to the discussion about the time it takes to run the apps (I just ran 1 dump in 73 seconds with 3 of the user KD commands).

But the point of this post is that the pop-up window for the update notification is (on my system) a "pop-under" - as it never pops to the foreground to grab my attention. If I ignore it, I'll have several of them in the Task Bar as none will close.

That is true if you have your apps setup to always be on top for the first screen. The update pop-up does not have always on top enabled. I can change that so it is always on top for users who have the first screen set to always on top.

As for the latest version of the apps, you shouldn't see a significant speed decrease. 20 seconds over 90 .dmps is a fairly small increase. Given that the new method did not solve the other slowness issue, I will be releasing a new version for users with the old, faster method within a few days. I will also be releasing a 2.7.2.1 version for users who are having problems with the parallel threading capability built in. 2.7.2.1 will have the console flash at the beginning and run the .dmps using system function calls. I am not sure why CreateProcess and ShellExecuteEx are causing problems for some users. I may ask AceInfinity if he has ever experienced anything similar during his program development.

Thanks Mike!
It's not a real problem for me, but I thought that I'd mention it in case you've been looking for additional feedback.

I'll be looking forward to the 2721 version and any speed increases that it may show.
Thanks again for all your hard work!

You'll probably want to go with 2.14.3.

2.7.2.1 is for users experiencing the problem described in the Apps run slower after updating to a new version thread.

I am hoping 2.7.2.1 will solve that problem once and for all. It has been a problem that surfaced when I created my own apps last May/June, and I changed to system function calls as a result for running the debugging tools. It re-surfaced when I tried to move away from the system function calls to allow for a cleaner interface with the apps. It only happens for one user that I am aware of at this time where each .dmp takes 4-5 minutes to run.
