That is true if you have your apps setup to always be on top for the first screen. The update pop-up does not have always on top enabled. I can change that so it is always on top for users who have the first screen set to always on top.
As for the latest version of the apps, you shouldn't see a significant speed decrease. 20 seconds over 90 .dmps is a fairly small increase. Given that the new method did not solve the other slowness issue, I will be releasing a new version for users with the old, faster method within a few days. I will also be releasing a 126.96.36.199 version for users who are having problems with the parallel threading capability built in. 188.8.131.52 will have the console flash at the beginning and run the .dmps using system function calls.
