I've tried every thing I've been able to read
Hot Fix KB947821
win7 disc update fails
Restore fails
scannow fails protected cant access
anti malware got rid of three issues but they seemed minor
system runs but cant update

It started when I was deleting broken codecs and after reboot it went into a start up loop
I used my previous SSD which about 6 months out of use but the same data, I used Norton ghost to go to a larger size
I copied the system 32 folder to the crunked up SSD and it booted just fine but some files are jacked.

can you help?
I attached my logs
AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.4G
8G mem
windows 7 ultimate SP1
32 bit OS

I realize copying the system 32 might not have been the best way to go but since I had work files on there I was in a bit of a panic : (
TIA

I ran scannow even thought it failed and this is what I got, looks like windows module installer is missing. I will attempt to copy it from other SSD

Hi,

Richard is currently non holiday and therefore not able to help in threads very much at the moment. I myself am not trained to fix this issue so cannot help you.

Richard may reply soon, or you may receive help from Tom982, our other expert here.

Thanks for your patience :-)

Stephen
