Edit - 9/14/20 12:00 PM CST Since I posted, Sally has been upgraded to a Cat 1 Hurricane. Still nothing special except to those low areas in Mississippi, and Louisianna.
I am getting tired of these events. This one is not that bad, it's the anticipation and unknown which way it's going to go, how much it will strengthen. Right now it's a lot of rain and a bit of wind. Nothing like Hurricane Michael that made landfall just to the right of the red arrow. Hurricane Michael did not leave one power pole standing, maybe 10 trees out of millions. People are still living in RV's from Michael and that was October 2018. Picture the 1 mile wide F5 Joplin tornado x 40 miles.
I hope it spares us this season. I can't mentally take another bad one this soon. If I didn't have the well-established business here, I'd seriously consider moving.
