You are helping to increase the knowledge of people that want to understand more about the Windows issues and how to troubleshoot and hopefully solve them. The have an HP laptop with Windows 7 Professional X64 SP1 that has never had any issues in doing the monthly updates until November and December of this year. Other updates have installed without any issues. I have been trying several suggestions from Googling the issue from manual downloads, renaming files and running Microsoft tools. None have been able to fix the issues, so when this site come up on the Google search I felt that I might stand a good chance of diagnosing and fixing the issue.
