Why do they call it a cheque? Why not a Yugoslavian?

Seriously, the cheque is what stood out to me since in American English, where Microsoft is based, it should be check.

EDIT: Just saw it was UK based for the "lottery" explaining away the wording for cheque, though I would also be suspicious as to why a UK "lottery" would give money to an American citizen.

First, I only get the blank message spam or Link only spam. My inbox automatically deals with the rest of the garbage...

Second, I like UK spellings, they seem more formal and proper. As for Cheque, I like the word. It sounds the same with given exception to the ending. Same with Colour.

And I'm LOL'ing at my Firefox for thinking I'm making typos when I am indeed using the correct spellings.

The UK spellings have extra letters = extra typing = extra work!
