A scammer reconfigure my friend computer with the syskey password requirement and now she cannot do anything without the syskey password. All the safe mode options require a password and also the repair start up cannot repair computer . In the past, the scammers have been known to use 123, 1234 or 12345 as the password, although in those situations (dating as far back as 2012), safe mode did not require a password and, if System Restore points hadn't been removed, reverting to a restore point prior to allowing access were successful.
Since you said your friend "knows nothing about computers", unfortunately, the best method is going to be a wipe and reinstall. See quietman7's post linking to related topics for suggested fixes here.

Corrine thanks for your swift reply, the information is priceless and something that every person with a computer should know. I am going to take this challenge and try to fix this myself with the information that you just gave me. Your guidance just gave me courage to tackle this problem. Thanks forum for being there for me and the public. I will share the results.
Guess what ? I have solve this issue and it only cost me 6$ dollars for a pack of dvd's and my God given brains to fix this seemly difficult problem. Passcape have a product to remove the changes that the syskey scammer put in place and I was fortunate to find the passcape iso that is free and went through the steps and boom the computer is back to normal.
