Hello :)

Can you please follow Tom's instructions once again please, exactly as you did last time, and post the new log. You did it absolutely perfectly, however, there was a bug in SFCFix (which was my fault!) and those lines were incorrectly blocked. I've since fixed SFCFix and they should no longer be blocked.

Thank you!

Richard

Did it fix the BSoD thing?? I haven't had one since past week....or does it still require some sorting?

Got BSod today again......Richard/Tom please help...this thing is driving me crazy...all my work was lost....awaiting eagerly for your revert...

Hi hell81007,

Sorry for the delay, Richard and I are both in the middle of exams at the moment so our time here is limited. But you'll be glad to hear that my last exam was today so I'm free again :) I'm absolutely shattered though so I'll reply to this after I get my beauty sleep.

Tom

Hi hell81007,

Thanks for your patience.

SFC Scan

  1. Click on the Start
    Start%20Orb.jpg
button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    sfc /scannow

Wait for this to finish before you continue

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt

  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

Tom

Hi Tom,
I did sfc /scannow but no text file was generated on the desktop.

Either i didn't follow the instructions properly or was not able to comprehend it precisely.

Am attaching the screenshot of sfc /scannow.sfc scannow.png
