Either way, can you also please post your SFCFix logfile? It will be on your Desktop called SFCFix.txt or in C:\SFCFix. Thank you! Richard

I experience system crashes, Windows Update errors, Windows Store Apps appear and disappear. I've tried reinstalling Windows 8 and 8.1, refresh and reset, DISM. I think my 8.1 ISO has become corrupted as well.

Navigate to Code: C:/Windows/minidump Copy all the .dmp files to the desktop and compress them in .zip folders. Upload those folders here. A Kernel dump file would be more useful, Go the Start Right click My Computer Select Properties Click Advanced system settings Click on the Advanced tab Select Settings under Startup and Recovery Then under Write debugging information select Kernel memory dump. Once a dump is created go to: Code: C:/Windows/memory.dmp Copy the file to the desktop, zip it up and upload it to a file sharing site like Onedrive. After the upload is done post the download link in your next reply.

This should bring up System. Click Advanced System Settings on the left > Advanced > Performance > Settings > Advanced > Ensure there's a check-mark for 'Automatically manage paging file size for all drives'. 2. Windows key + Pause key. This should bring up System. Click Advanced System Settings on the left > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings > System Failure > ensure there is a check mark next to 'Write an event to the system log'. Ensure Kernel Memory Dump is selected and ensure the path is %systemroot%\MEMORY.DMP. 3. Double check that the WERS is ENABLED: Start > Search > type services.msc > Under the name tab, find Windows Error Reporting Service > If the status of the service is not Started then right click it and select Start. Also ensure that under Startup Type it is set to Automatic rather than Manual. You can do this by right clicking it, selecting properties, and under General selecting startup type to 'Automatic', and then click Apply.
