I've attached a link to the CBS logs. SFCFix detects the corruption and says it's going to take a longer time to fix but then DISM stop at 80%. Thanks.
!!! WARNING !!! The following fix is only relevant for this system and no other, applying this fix on another computer will not work and most likely will cause problems...
Download SFCFix.exe (by Niemiro) and save it to the Desktop
Download the file mobamoba.zip and save this to your Desktop
On your Desktop, make sure you have the two files:
SFCFix.exe and
mobamoba.zip
Drag the file mobamoba.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it
The SFCFix tool will process the script
Upon completion, a log file SFCFix.txt should be created on your Desktop
Open the SFCFix.txt log and copy & paste the contents to your post
Sorry about that - I spaced. :) Unfortunately it didn't work and I wasn't sure if it was okay to run the same process again (log collection) and post here or if I needed to start a new thread.
Can you post the SFCFix.txt log that was generated the first time? if not run the fix again and post the new log.
Usually several steps are needed to fix things, for this to work you need to follow the instructions and provide the requested logs so we can evaluate the progress and decide the next step.
Attached. SFCFix says there are no more errors. However, when I run dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth I get errors. Below is the link to the CBS log as it's too big. DISM log attached. Thanks.
If you applied the fix from post #2 please open the folder C:\SFCFix and locate inside the SFCFix log with a time stamp on the file name corresponding to the time and date when you execute the fix. Attach the log to your post for my review.
Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Config and locate the COMPONENTS file
Please copy the COMPONENTS file to your desktop Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again
Right-click on this file on your Desktop and select Send To...Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named COMPONENTS.ZIP on your Desktop
If file will is too large to upload to the forum please share the file using a service like Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, or upload to Swiss Transfer and just provide the link for the file here
right-click the file ExportCBSRegistry2.cmd and select Run as administrator
when the script ends a new file called SoftwareCBS.zip will be located on the Desktop
If the zip file is too large to upload to the forum please share the file using a service like Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, or upload to Swiss Transfer and just provide the link for the file here
right-click the file ExportSbSRegistry.cmd and select Run as administrator
