SP1 isn't installed, please do the following:
Installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1
1. Visit the PC manufacturer's website and update ALL drivers. DO NOT use Windows Update or the "Update drivers" function of Device Manager.
2. Check Device Manager for any unknown/disabled devices - if there are unknown/disabled devices, fix them with the latest drivers from the device manufacturer's website (not the PC Manufacturer)
3. Visit Windows Update and get all updates (may take repeated visits)
4. Visit Windows Update and get Service Pack 1 (usually under Important Updates). Read these notes for installing SP1: Steps to follow before you install Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 from the Microsoft Download Center
5. Visit Windows Update and get any other available updates. May take repeated visits, but keep it up until you get several "Windows is updated" results.
If you're having difficulties with installing a Service Pack, please use the SURTool from this link: What is the System Update Readiness Tool?
Also, check out this troubleshooting link from Microsoft: Troubleshoot problems installing Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

I have had limited success in installing updates/Service Packs when using a "clean boot". I suspect that I'm just bypassing the problem - and that it can come back to bite me in the butt later on.

Your BIOS dates from 2007. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

Only 923 mB of RAM free. You only have 2 gB of RAM, I'd suggest getting more (after checking what the system is capable of holding). While waiting for the new RAM, please only run one program at a time - and trim your startups so that nothing unneeded is running at startup.

These items are starting with the system, I suspect that they are malicious. Please run several of these free anti-malware scans: Free Online AntiMalware Resources
CIS_{15198508-521A-4D69-8E5B-B94A6CCFF805} "c:\users\fred\appdata\local\temp\cis8075.exe" --postuninstall {15198508-521a-4d69-8e5b-b94a6ccff805} Public HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

CIS_{81EFDD93-DBBE-415B-BE6E-49B9664E3E82} "c:\users\fred\appdata\local\temp\cis8075.exe" --postuninstall {81efdd93-dbbe-415b-be6e-49b9664e3e82} Public HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Out of 24 memory dumps there were 12 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers)
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

It looks like you have both Avast and Comodo installed. Please remove Comodo and ensure that you have the latest, Win7 compatible versions of Avast installed. DO NOT run 2 anti-virus at the same time - nor should you run 2 firewalls at the same time. Be sure that you have a firewall turned on after uninstalling Comodo.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

hello Usasma,
thank you for your response.
i wil take all the steps you descrbed an retur with the results. This can take a while i only do my computer stuff during the weekend hours and only if i can find the time.
So until next time soon i hope with positive results.
Nescio999

Not a problem. I get an email when you reply to this topic, so I'll be back then!
Good luck!

well i am back again with no positive results.
1. there is no more recent BIOS available then the one is running.
2. the Sigmatel driver is the latest version.
3. accordig to AMD/ATI i have the latest video driver installed.
i still have BSOD at the most unexpected moments, like scrolling ia mail or a internetpage.
so i have new files with the latest results how can i attach them to this post and not creat a new post?
Nescio

Have you installed SP1?

Please zip up and upload the contents of C:\Windows\Minidump for us to have a look at.

The latest minidump available is from 7 April 2013 and it is from before you installed SP1.
There are no further memory dumps, so I'd have to wonder if there's a hardware problem with the system.

First, please check to be sure that the system is set to save minidumps: http://www.carrona.org/setmini.hmtl
Then, run Driver Verifier to see if it'll catch any memory dumps. Follow the directions here: Driver Verifier Settings
As time permits, start these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Usasma, again thank you fore your response and the time spending on my problem. :thud::thud:
I am a little bit confused, i had the last 3 day at least 5 BSOD's with the system reporting there was a dump made but i can't find the dump files on my harddrive.
The system parameters point to %systemroot%\minidump or c:\users\(user)\My Documents\ for the memory dumps.
In your first mail you refered on a hardware device from Hawking Technologies, this can be a USB 4 port device for witch there a no additional drivers installed.
This mornig after the system was idle for say 30 minutes it stopped with a BSOD stop error 0x0000001E pointing at the usb.sys.
At the screen was memory dump 100% but this dump is nowhere to find.
I hope for a BSOD soon and with a mini dump that i wil post a soon the system is up and running again.
The system is now for at least 2 hours running with no problems as it dit yesterday the whole afternoon.
I even watched a movie, that wasn't possible before i installed SP1, i think it helped a little bit installing SP1.

Hi -

That last dump had a bugcheck = 0x3b (0xc0000005,,,) = system service threw an exception

The exception = 0xc0000005 = memory access violation

I see you have Avast installed.

Is Trusteer a competing product? Does Trusteer have a firewall?

hello Jcgriff2, in your e-mail you are saying that I use Avast for virus protection, this i had installed before but quickly removed after several BSOD's. Probably there are still remnants of this program in the registry remaining, should I remove them?
Trusteer is a Microsoft product and part of the Microsoft security essentials depending on the Windows Firewall.
Thank you for your response and your time spending on this challange.
Regards nescio999

I only recall one post that I dealt with that had a Hawking device (not yours). Does the post that I made to you still remain? I'm unable to find it - and I don't suspect that you have a Hawking device on your system at this time.

FYI - Trusteer Rapport is a type of security software for online banking. More info on it here: Trusteer Rapport for Online Banking | Trusteer

Jcgiff2, Usasma,
Men you are right i was too quick with my response to the popup window after the question of Jcgriff2.
I have both programs installed recently after one another and did not pay attention what programs appeared in the sysmtemtray. I mistakenly assumed Trusteer to be MSE and that it was part of Micrsoft. Sorry for that.
The last 2 days there where another BSOD's attached are the Two Dumpfiles.
@Usasma, i don't know the brand of the USB card, some one gave to me and it worked fine while using XP. I had a look at the card and stil can't determine the brand so it could be a Hawkings device but I am not shure of that.

good day Gentlemen, i finaly had the time and recources to buy and install a 2G memory update, i did this yesterday and until now the system is very stable. I tryed most things like installing new programs, watched a movie and scrolled to a whole lot of webpages and no BSOD's anymore.
So for now thank you very much for your time and expertise on my challange, I would like to close this tread until the next time.
regards nescio999
