Repeated Offering of Malicious Software Removal Tool for November

About a month ago I was being continually offered the MSRT for October. About a week ago the problem recurred for the November update and I followed the instructions that were given in my original thread here https://www.sysnative.com/forums/wi...software-removal-tool-october.html#post136208 and the problem was fixed, or so it seemed. I have just been offered the November update yet again and I am wondering if there is anything else I need to do besides following the original instructions i.e. running sfc /scannow followed by the SURT. My system is 32-bit Windows Vista

If you haven't yet run SFC and the System Update Readiness Tool, please do so and then let's take a look at the logs :)

Please zip and attach C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log and C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log

The problem seems to have corrected itself for now as, at the next reboot, the November MSRT update disappeared and since then the December one has gone through okay. If it happens again I will do as suggested.
