Ironically I just did and it worked! Thank you so much for this fix!1!
I also had to remove my work Microsoft account as it forced me to use a PIN to login.
But, NordVPN is now acting up and I can only access the internet when I disconnect from a VPN server.

As for the PIN, there is nothing wrong to use it instead of the password which is used for everything.

DR M Thank you for your help and success with helping out the community. I'm hoping you could further-more assist with this issue. Having followed your instructions, the duplicate phantom user account is still there upon login. I have gone as far as creating a new Microsoft account and removing all other accounts from every obvious location available and still the other account is there and says that the password is incorrect when I turn on the pc for the first time.

Can you please tell us what exactly have you tried (with the same order)?

Do you have auto login enabled?

Have you changed passwords/computer name?
