[h=3]24.7.1 (2014-08-06)[/h]This is a bugfix release for some outstanding issues in 24.7.0.

Fixes/changes:

• Fixed a text rendering issue with the new back-end on overdraw layers when hardware acceleration is in use on Windows. This may also solve some additional small issues in the user interface that weren't present before 24.7.0.
• Fixed the use of Google Maps.
  If you previously used the workaround in 24.7, then please remove the user-set preference (right-click -> reset).

As usual, I am always late in adopting new software, such as Pale Moon. I had heard about it, but never took the time to investigate it. I just installed it, and it seems very fast. I'll use it as my default for now to see how it goes.

I used Pale Moon some years ago (learned about it from SNF, James) but at the time I guess I was too stuck on FF. Since the rapid release nonsense with FF, I've become disenchanted but didn't want to give up my favorite add-ons. Switching to Pale Moon was the solution that works for me.

Too bad it won't install on Windows RT (my Lenovo Yoga 11). Looks like I am limited to IE, which is not a bad thing, but I would like to use an alternate browser such as Pale Moon. :sad:
