Outdated Drivers?

Rig: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 motherboard / AMD FX-8350

Curious about a few drivers I couldn't find, and if they were up-to-date they seem so outdated. Obviously I download the latest driver off the AMD website, things just don't seem right. Am getting a little latency with my storport.sys

Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller.

Driver Provider: AMD
Date 3-30-2010
Version: 1.0.0.5

USB Root Hub

Driver Provider: M$
Date 6-21-2006
Version: 6.1.7601.18328

Also under storage controllers, there is nothing. Is the normal with a AMD chipset without Raid?

If am out of date, could you point me in the right direction, my google search terms didn't seem to cut it.

Thanks

Should I download those? I figured The latest were found here correct? -http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows%207%20-%2064. During installation there was a selection of Usb, sata, ahci and chipset drivers. The drives on asus from 2012, Surely there has been updates. Also they are inf files, If I can't see the storage, how can I install?

I decided to add my xperf. I did a huge file transfer as I believe storage is my issue. It would make sense since I don't have a driver there.

Thanks for the help

You can right click to install inf files. Thier drivers are not setup for this.

I also should mention that amd sata controller is found under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. Still think there should be something found under storage controllers. Since that whole starport.sys issue.

Apologies, I thought your chipset drivers were from 2010. I reread the first post and now realize my mistake.

For your storage/chipset drivers you are correct that link should be the most up to date.

For the USB since they are from a different vendor you might consider downloading those however, since they are not related to the issue I probably wouldn't bother.

At this point you hit my limit on diagnosing the latency issue. (I know pretty much nothing :roll eyes (sarcasti)

I will see if I can get someone more experienced to step in.

No problem. I appreciate the help nonetheless. If you can get some to take a look I would be grateful.
