North East USA

I understand the launch has been rescheduled for tomorrow night (28Oct2014) at 6:22 EST. Apparently the launch was scrubbed because there was a boat within the safety range.

Obviously not able to see it in the Southern sky from NJ.

I wonder what happened.

I didn't know that NASA had a Launchpad in Virginia. I thought only FL and out West.

It only had six seconds of flight time.
It's good that no one was hurt.

Ch 6 news said it was a private commercial rocket.

Its payload included 2.5 tons of equipment destined for the International Space Station.

It also had an Ocean City, NJ, High School science project on board containing E. coli bacteria + lettuce (dinner, perhaps? :0 )
