Actually, in terms of fit, the case is really the only thing that matters. As noted here that case will support cards up to 420mm in length or 16 inches so you have lots of room.
It is a pretty power hungry card so you must make sure your supply will support it too.
It is odd that the MSI is overclocked too but is not really marketed as overclocked.
Also odd to me is the maximum resolutions. The ASUS claims 3840 x 2160 while the MSI claims 4096 x 2160. 3840 x 2160 is UHD-1 which is 16:9 while 4096 x 2160 is for 4K resolutions or ~ 17:9. It seems to me they should be the same. Oh well.
And note for just a few dollars more (always the case) you can get the 4Gb version!
At any rate, I emphasize again, this is a power hungry card so do make sure you PSU can handle it, and has the necessary 8-Pin PCIe connector too.
