I'm not sure if I understand your question, but I can tell you that it depends. In theory, if under Windows 8/8.1/10, SFC returns a clean CBS.log, DISM shouldn't detect anything (since we use DISM to run SURT on Windows 8+), however, it's possible that DISM detects corruption that SFC cannot see. The same goes for SFC and SURT under Windows Vista and Windows 7. Hence why before proceeding with a Windows Update issue, we always makes sure that both SFC and DISM/SURT return clean logs.
