I think we've met before Can you please follow these instructions: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/4736-windows-update-forum-posting-instructions.html to upload your CBS folder to this thread. I know that you don't have a Windows Update issue, but you have something extremely similar. All your error code, 1935, is telling me at the moment is that the assembly cannot be installed. However, it's not telling me why. Hence I need to see those Windows Update logfiles to figure out the why :) As for whether it's fixable, the only answer I can give you at this time, without seeing the specific problem, is "usually". Most of the time it's a fairly simple fix for a small corruption somewhere. But occasionally it's something much bigger, so we'll have to wait and see. There are literally hundreds of different possible corruptions which can cause this error. Oh what fun! Anyway, see if you can upload the logfiles and we'll go from there :) Richard

Can I suggest an alternative method? Please use a 3rd party file sharing service, such as Dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/) Microsoft OneDrive (https://onedrive.live.com/), or any other you prefer, upload the file there, make sure it's publicly accessible, then copy and paste a link to the file here. Thank you very much. Richard

Agh! That's huge! It definitely shouldn't be that big under normal conditions. Something's blown your logfiles to truly enormous proportions. Windows is supposed to make sure that they don't get too big, but something's clearly broken that too. You're actually the second person I've seen with such a big logfile in recent weeks though... To give you an idea, most people's logfiles upload in under 5 seconds. Yours took about an hour. It's going to take me that long to download it too! Meet you back in a little while Richard
