i hit 4.9 GHz on my first oc i feel like i was born for this and it feels good especially since i know that if i get a better cooler i can hit 5.2

Congratulations on your Overclock! :dance:

Not an overclocker myself, but only because I have a laptop. If I ever get enough money to build a desktop PC from scratch, I'll probably overclock it (presuming I can work out how to buy the Intel Performance Tuning Protection Plan in the UK!).

Are you seeing a noticeable difference now you've OC'd? Any benchmarks to report?

Very nicely done, you must have won the silicon lottery.

I personally cannot get my PII 1090T over 4.2GHz, temperature is far from the problem as it is liquid cooled but, i've tried multiple times and it always quits right around there.

Still a great chip but, wish I would have gotten a better binned one :thumbsup2:

5GHz is quite the accomplishment :grin1: good luck!
