I recently used ZIP file and TXT file patches you provided to fix corrupted files on my system. I'm a fan of command-line processing, so I first tried to process the SFCFix.ZIP file by navigating to the directory where the SFCFix.EXE file is located, copying the ZIP file there, and then entering:
sfcfix sfcfix.zip
SFCFix did in fact execute, but unfortunately, it said that the ZIP file was corrupt and that I might try re-downloading it.
Instead of that, though, I simply made shortcuts on the Desktop both to the SFCFix.EXE and the SFCFix.zip files. I then dragged the ZIP file graphically over to the EXE, and it accepted it, with a command window appearing and showing the processing.
Is there a special switch needed to feed input files into SFCFix.exe, or may it only be executed graphically, as described above?
Many thanks,
Tom
