I was without a monitor for five months. Went through several jobs. Got a girlfriend. Much more, all in the span of my last visit.

Oh for sure! It's a nice quality monitor, so hopefully this one lasts even half as long as the 15 years I had the other...

Yeah, from a faithful hunky 60hz 16" CRT to the leap to a 120hz 22" LED widescreen with HDMI - the disparity in quality is akin to removing my glasses. Colour, sharpness, even simply screen responsiveness is fantastic.
