first of all i need to inform all of you that am not really good in English. . .sorry:o

When I try to open my personal folders and other WINDOWS related folders, I recieve this:

Window #1:
Windows Explorer has stopped working.
Windows is searching for a solution.
Option: Cancel box
Window #2:
Windows Explorer is restarting.
Option: Cancel box

i use command prompt and typed Sfc /scannow then the result said "windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them"
"details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log"

i tried to open the CBS.log but it said "access denied"

can anyone help me??

Hi kid's, welcome to Sysnative!

I've moved your thread to the Windows Update forum - here you'll receive faster help for your issue. Please carry out the following steps for us to help you.

Export CBS folder

  1. Click the Start button
    StartButton_16x16.gif
    then click Computer.
  2. Double-click on the C: drive, under the Hard Disk Drives category, and then scroll down to, and double click on the Windows folder.
  3. Find and double click on the Logs folder.
  4. Right-click on the CBS folder, and select Copy.
  5. Go back to your Desktop, right-click on it, and select Paste. You should now see a copy of the CBS folder appear on your Desktop called CBS.
  6. Right-click on this new folder, and navigate through Send to, and select Compressed (zipped) folder.
  7. A new file, also called CBS (CBS.zip), but this time with a different icon, will be created.

Hi kid's, that's great. :thumbsup2:

Please download SystemLook from the link below and save it to your Desktop.
Download Mirror #1
  • Double-click SystemLook.exe to run it.
  • Copy the content of the following codebox into the main textfield:
    Code:
    :filefind
    PINTLGB.IMD
  • Click the Look button to start the scan.
  • When finished, a notepad window will open with the results of the scan. Please post this log in your next reply.
Note: The log can also be found at on your Desktop entitled SystemLook.txt

Please check whether you have the following program installed. You can do this by clicking Start->(or Computer)->Control Panel->Programs->Programs and Features.
ASUS WebStorage

Hi kid's,

Is ASUS WebStorage a program you use? It seems to be linked to the issues you're having. If you don't use this program, I would recommend uninstalling it now.

Sorry for late rep, need sleep and got class to attend,

Hi kid's,

It's a method if transferring and syncing files between devices. It's very similar to Dropbox or Microsoft Skydrive.

As you don't use the program, please uninstall it and restart your computer.
