Ahh yeah, that's probably an effect of the panorama mode.

Wait, the earth is round? :rolleyes::p

The woodsy stuff in the first post is a swamp and usually has a foot of water there. We haven't had any real rain to speak of in months and most of it had dried out.
 
Don't quite have a swamp nearby, but Winter is certainly the season of mud where I am.

My two dogs only ever seem to be found in one of two conditions at this time of year ..... muddy ..... and muddier.
